It is that time of the year again. The ISA International Tree Climbing Championship (ITCC) begins this Friday, in Milwaukee WI. This event has been a turning point for my professional year. A reset button, a chance to see old friends, meet new climbers, give back a bit of what I have been given.
The ITCC is the starting point for me as a trainer. Here I networked the connections, met the people and developed the avenues that allow me to train arborists for a living.
The ITCC is also the setting for my first novel. Here I choose to begin the artistic pursuit of writing fiction.
As I prepare to load onto the motorcycle for the day and a half run west, it is with a bit of a renewed spirit and a firm look ahead at what the next year will hold for me as climber, trainer and author.
I hope to meet some of you there. As always, I travel with books and a pen. If you can stop by the work climb event, the Free Falling “book tour” will continue through the weekend!
Thanks all,
Tony
Thanks a lot,Tony, for writing this great book.
It was a huge pleasure, to reading it…just awesome!
Anja,
Thanks so much! I really appreciate the time you spent reading the book. Without the reader the whole process is useless! Missed seeing you at ITCC!
